MY FIANCÉ IS WICKED, HE ABANDONED ME AFTER I LOST MY JOB AND CALLED OFF OUR WEDDING — HEARTBROKEN LADY SHARES

A woman who wants to remain anonymous has shared how her fiancé allegedly called off their wedding shortly after she lost her job. She said she had always believed that he would stand by her during difficult times because they had repeatedly promised each other that they would face life’s challenges together.

According to her, everything appeared to be going well while they were planning their wedding. Both families had reportedly been informed about the relationship, and preparations were already underway. She said she was excited about starting a new chapter with the man she believed would remain by her side. Her situation reportedly changed after she unexpectedly lost her job. She said the loss affected her financially and emotionally, but she initially believed her fiancé would support her while she searched for another opportunity. Instead, she claimed that he gradually became distant and began questioning whether she was financially ready for marriage.

“I was already hurting because I had lost my job, but I never imagined that I would lose him too,” she said. She claimed that conversations about their wedding became increasingly tense and that her fiancé eventually told her he no longer wanted to continue with the marriage.

The woman said she felt abandoned because she believed marriage was supposed to involve supporting each other through difficult seasons. She admitted that she spent days blaming herself and wondering whether losing her job had made her less valuable in his eyes. Eventually, she said she realised that unemployment was a temporary situation and should not determine her worth.

She said the experience has changed the way she views relationships and financial security. Although she remains heartbroken about the cancelled wedding, she now wants to focus on rebuilding her career and becoming financially independent again. “I lost a job, not my future,” she concluded. “If someone can walk away from me because of one difficult season, perhaps I need to accept that they were never ready for the journey I imagined.”
