Evangelist Chukwudi has shared his story, insisting that he has never envied anyone and is simply trying to understand why some people’s blessings appear to arrive before his.
According to him, he genuinely celebrates other people’s success. “I have never envied anyone,” he explained. “I just need to understand why God is moving faster in their direction.”
He said he started asking questions after several people around him began experiencing what he described as “unusual levels of divine favour.”
According to Evangelist Chukwudi, one of his friends recently bought a new car, another got married, while someone he used to advise started a successful business. “I am happy for all of them,” he said. “But as a spiritual person, I believe questions are also part of understanding God’s plan.” His friends, however, have reportedly noticed that his questions always become more detailed whenever someone else succeeds.
When one of them announced that he had secured a new job, Chukwudi allegedly congratulated him before asking how much he would be earning, who recommended him and exactly when he applied.
Another friend reportedly received a congratulatory message from him after buying a house.
The message allegedly ended with one question: “So when exactly did you start planning this?”
Chukwudi insists that he is simply trying to understand his own journey. “I am not comparing myself with anybody,” he said. “I just want to know why some people are receiving what I have been praying about for years.”
He reportedly spends time praying whenever someone close to him announces good news.
However, according to his friends, the prayer sometimes begins with congratulations and ends with questions about timelines, connections and opportunities.
One friend reportedly told him to simply celebrate people’s blessings without investigating them. Chukwudi disagreed. “How can I learn from someone’s testimony if I don’t understand how the testimony happened?”
He insists that there is no jealousy involved.
“I am genuinely happy for everybody. I just believe God should explain the queue system.” His friends reportedly laughed when they heard this.
Chukwudi, however, maintained that he was serious. “I don’t want what belongs to anybody. I just want to understand why theirs arrived before mine.”
At this point, his friends have reportedly stopped announcing their achievements around him until they are completely sure he has recovered from the previous one.
