I WILL NEVER LOVE AGAIN, MY FIANCEE DISAPPEARED TWO WEEKS BEFORE OUR WEDDING AFTER COLLECTING MY MONEY – HEARTBROKEN LADY SHARES
I thought I had finally found the person I would spend the rest of my life with. My fiancé and I had been together for some time, and when he proposed, I was convinced that everything was falling into place. We started planning our wedding together, and both families were already preparing for the ceremony. I was excited because I genuinely believed I was about to begin the happiest chapter of my life.
As the wedding approached, I started taking care of several financial responsibilities. My fiancé told me he needed money to settle some wedding arrangements and promised that everything would be sorted before the big day. Because I trusted him, I gave him a substantial amount of money. I never imagined that doing so would become one of my biggest regrets.
Two weeks before the wedding, he suddenly became difficult to reach. His calls stopped coming, and whenever I called him, his phone was either switched off or unavailable. At first, I assumed something had happened to him. I contacted his friends and relatives, but nobody seemed to know where he was. Then I discovered that he had packed some of his belongings and left his apartment. I was completely confused. The wedding invitations had already gone out, family members had made preparations and people were looking forward to the ceremony. Yet the man I was supposed to marry had simply disappeared. When I asked about the money he had collected, I became even more frightened because I realized I had no idea where it had gone.
My family tried everything they could to locate him, but days passed without any explanation. Eventually, I received information suggesting that he had travelled out of town. I felt humiliated and heartbroken at the same time. I kept replaying our relationship in my head, wondering whether there had been signs that I ignored because I was too in love to notice them.
The wedding never happened. I had to explain the situation to relatives and friends while dealing with the embarrassment of everything falling apart so suddenly. Today, I am still trying to heal from the experience. I don’t know whether I will ever trust someone enough to love them the same way again, but I have learned one painful lesson: love should never make you ignore every warning sign.
