AS GENOTYPE HAS COST ME BEAUTIFUL RELATIONSHIPS – NIGERIAN LADY LAMENTS DATING STRUGGLES

A Nigerian lady has opened up about the emotional challenges of dating as someone with the AS genotype, revealing that she has lost several promising relationships because of genotype compatibility.

Speaking in a heartfelt video, she explained that she often meets men she genuinely connects with, only for things to come to an abrupt end once the conversation shifts to blood group and genotype.

According to her, everything usually goes well in the early stages of getting to know each other.

“Am I the only one that has lost relationships that would have probably blossomed into something beautiful because of genotype?” she asked.

She shared that whenever she tells a potential partner that she is AS, many of them immediately decide not to continue the relationship, even when there is mutual attraction and compatibility.

“We intend to date, we like ourselves, but we will not force ourselves to be friends like that or just cut communication,” she said.

The lady also expressed frustration over some of the reactions she has received from men with the AA genotype. Recalling one experience, she said a man jokingly told her that being AA made him a “hotcake” in the dating market because many women were interested in him.

She admitted that such comments can be upsetting, especially when she believes genotype should not define a person’s worth or character.

Despite the disappointments, she maintained that she still has certain qualities she looks out for in a partner and hopes to eventually meet someone who is both compatible and aligns with her values.
