LADY DEMANDS ₦150,000 REFUND AFTER FRIEND’S MARRIAGE CRASHES JUST FOUR DAYS AFTER WEDDING

A lady has stirred reactions online after revealing that she demanded a refund of the ₦150,000 she contributed towards a friend’s wedding when the marriage reportedly ended just four days after the ceremony.

Sharing her frustration, she said she could not believe the marriage collapsed almost immediately after the lavish celebration, leaving her feeling cheated.

According to her, she contributed the money in support of her friend’s wedding, expecting the marriage to last, but was shocked when the couple announced their separation only four days later.

“I didn’t sleep for almost a week after giving ₦150,000 to my friend on his wedding ceremony only for the marriage to end after four days… Not even four weeks or four months,” she said.

She added that the couple did not disclose the reason for the sudden split, simply announcing on their status that the marriage was over.

Feeling disappointed, she questioned why they did not call off the wedding before accepting financial support from family and friends.

“I felt cheated because tell me why you guys didn’t separate before the wedding?” she wrote.

According to the lady, she eventually asked her friend to refund the ₦150,000 she had contributed. However, instead of getting a response, she claimed her friend blocked her the following day.

“I ended up asking for a refund. My friend blocked me the next day. I feel cheated honestly. What do you mean you guys are done after collecting my ₦150,000?” she added.
