HEAVEN SOUNDS LIKE PUNISHMENT, NOT PARADISE” – LADY SPARKS REACTIONS AFTER EXPLAINING WHY SHE DOESN’T WANT TO GO TO HEAVEN
A lady has triggered heated conversations online after openly sharing her reasons for not wanting to go to heaven, arguing that the idea of eternity in heaven does not appeal to her.
In a video that has since gone viral on social media, the lady explained that she has never fantasized about going to heaven after death and believes the concept of heaven, as described in Christianity, raises several concerns for her.
According to her, one of the major reasons she finds heaven unappealing is what she described as the lack of female representation.
She pointed out that the Christian depiction of God is male-centered, referring to God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, while also questioning why there are no prominent female angels mentioned in the Bible.
“Firstly, heaven doesn’t sound like a safe place for women. For people to coexist healthily in any environment, there has to be female and male representation,” she said.
The woman questioned why angels such as Michael, Gabriel, and Lucifer are mentioned in biblical texts while no female angel figures appear to be recognized in the same way.
“I need female representation in heaven to make me feel like I could be safe there. Not one exists in the Bible,” she added.
She went on to compare her perception of heaven to highly restrictive societies where women have limited influence, claiming that the environment described in religious teachings does not sound like paradise to her.
The lady also admitted that her personality plays a major role in her views.
Describing herself as naturally rebellious, she said she dislikes rules and enjoys questioning authority, which she believes would make it difficult for her to coexist with God.
“I like to ask questions. I like to know why. God doesn’t like being questioned. So me and Him, we cannot coexist,” she stated.
She further revealed that she enjoys secular music, social gatherings, and other pleasures of everyday life, adding that she cannot imagine spending eternity doing only what she believes heaven requires.
“I like to listen to Davido, Drake, Seyi Vibez, and Omah Lay. I want to have parties and hang out with friends,” she said.
According to her, the traditional description of heaven sounds more restrictive than enjoyable.
The lady concluded by saying she enjoys the pleasures of earthly life and does not see heaven as a destination she desires.
