Nigerian actress Miriam Ogbonna has stirred massive reactions online after sharing her thoughts on the financial responsibilities of parenthood.

The actress stated that individuals who do not earn between ₦1 million and ₦2 million monthly should reconsider having children.

According to Miriam, bringing a child into the world without the financial capacity to provide adequately only exposes the child to unnecessary hardship.

In her words:

“If you don’t earn at least 1-2 million naira a month, you have no business giving birth o. Don’t suffer an innocent child that didn’t ask to be born.
