MY BOYFRIEND BROKE UP WITH ME AFTER I FORGOT TO CLEAN HIS APARTMENT AFTER VISITING – SHATTERED LADY SHARES

A heartbroken lady has shared how her boyfriend allegedly ended their relationship after she forgot to clean his apartment following her first visit to his home.

According to her, they had been talking for about two months and officially started dating barely two weeks before the incident. Wanting to spend more time with him, she decided to visit his apartment for the first time and stayed overnight.

She explained that although they had a great time together, she barely slept throughout the night. The next morning, her boyfriend woke up around 7 a.m. and left for work. Before leaving, he showed her where to drop his key when she was ready to leave and reminded her to close the windows so rain wouldn’t wet his bed.

The lady admitted that she is naturally very forgetful and even asked him to call and remind her because she was afraid she might forget. After he left for work, she fell asleep and didn’t wake up until around 9 a.m.

When she woke up, she called him to ask for transportation money, which he sent. During the conversation, he once again reminded her to shut the windows.

She said she intended to arrange the bed before leaving and throw away some food he had bought for her the previous night, which she didn’t eat because she didn’t like it. However, she completely forgot to do all of those things before leaving the apartment.

Later that day, her boyfriend called to complain that she had left his apartment untidy. According to him, the leftover food made the house smell unpleasant, and he was disappointed that she didn’t clean up after herself.

She immediately apologized and explained that it was not intentional. He appeared to accept her apology, and they ended the call on a calm note.

Still feeling guilty about the situation, she sent him another message later to apologize again.

To her surprise, he later texted her saying that although the incident might seem like a small issue to her, it was a major concern for him. He added that after thinking deeply about it, he no longer wished to continue the relationship and felt it was best to end things before they became more serious.

The lady said he blocked her on all platforms immediately afterward, leaving her with no opportunity to explain herself further.

Expressing her disappointment, she noted that he had constantly told her he loved her throughout their relationship. She also revealed that it was the first time she had ever been broken up with, as she had always been the one ending previous relationships.

She concluded by asking social media users to share their opinions on whether she was wrong or if her boyfriend overreacted.
