I DON’T HAVE ANY RECENT PHOTOS OF MY KIDS, THEIR MOTHER REFUSED TO SEND THEM TO ME — FORMER FOOTBALLER EMMANUEL EBOUÉ SHARES

Former footballer Emmanuel Eboué has opened up about the emotional pain of being separated from his children, revealing that he has not seen them in years and does not even have recent photos of them.

Speaking candidly, Eboué said his children remain his biggest concern and a constant source of prayer.

“Every day, I pray for my kids. Even my two girls, I always mention them. I ask God, please, one day I want to see my children again,” he said.

The former Arsenal F.C. defender explained that despite opportunities to travel abroad, he deliberately chose to remain in his country in hopes of reconnecting with them.

“I don’t want to go to England. I prefer to stay in my country because I believe one day I will see them. But I keep praying for them,” he added.

Eboué further revealed that he has no recent photographs of his children, as attempts to obtain them from their mother have been unsuccessful.

“I don’t have any recent pictures. The ones I have are old, from when they were still kids. I asked for new ones, but their mother refused to send them,” he said.

According to him, he sometimes depends on other people just to catch a glimpse of his children.

“Some of my players go online, check, and send me pictures. That’s how I see them now,” he disclosed.

He also spoke about failed attempts to communicate with them, noting that although they receive his messages, they rarely respond.

“I send them messages… they read them, but they don’t answer,” he said.

Recalling a recent experience, he added, “Last month was Eva’s birthday. I called her, it was ringing, but she didn’t pick up. I sent her a message, she read it, but didn’t reply.”

Despite trying to rebuild his life, Eboué admitted that the absence of his children remains his deepest pain.

“I have my life now, but one thing that is missing in my life is my kids,” he said.
