How my mom Burned all my clothes and made me sleep outside for stealing the last food at home- Sorrowful Boy shares.

My name is Olu(Picture not thesame as the story sharer), and I’m thirteen years old. My mom made me sleep outside because I stole the only food in the house.

This happened three days ago when I came back very hungry. Normally, we eat food only once in the house so that day, mummy planned the food will serve us in the night and the next day, but I couldn’t wait.

I was feeling dizzy after playing ball with my friends in the field when I returned home to see the food, so mummy was sleeping, I ate the food.

When mummy woke up and found out what I did, she gathered all my clothes and set them ablaze in the backyard. The flames burned my favorite shirts, my beloved sneakers, and even my cherished childhood blankets. I kept crying and neighbors came to beg her too, but mummy wouldn’t listen.

Mummy then made me sleep outside for two days and nights.

Today is the third day, and I’m scared because I don’t know what mummy would do next.

As a single mum, I know it has been so difficult for mummy to raise me, but that day I was very hungry and didn’t mean to steal.
