OLDER WOMEN ARE MORE SUBMISSIVE, I AM IN LOVE WITH MY MOTHER’S BEST FRIEND — MAN SHARES SHOCKING STORY

I never imagined that I would develop feelings for a woman who has known my family for years.

She is my mother’s best friend. Growing up, she was always around. She attended family events, checked on us, and was practically part of the family. I never looked at her as anything more than a familiar face in my mother’s life.

But as I got older, something changed.I started noticing her differently.

She was mature, calm and incredibly understanding. Whenever we spoke, I felt like I could tell her things I couldn’t tell other people. She listened without judging me, and the more time we spent talking, the more attached I became.

Eventually, I realized that I was in love with her. At first, I tried to convince myself it was just admiration. I told myself the feelings would disappear if I ignored them.

They didn’t. What surprised me most was how different she was from the younger women I had dated. She wasn’t interested in unnecessary drama or trying to prove anything. She was patient, emotionally mature and knew how to communicate.

That was when I started telling myself that maybe older women were simply more submissive and understanding.

But then reality hit me. This isn’t just some random woman I met.

She is my mother’s best friend. I know exactly how my mother would react if she found out about my feelings. She might feel betrayed, embarrassed or even think that I had been planning this all along.

The woman herself has also never encouraged me to cross any boundaries. In fact, sometimes I wonder if she has noticed how I feel and deliberately keeps her distance.

I have been carrying these feelings quietly because I don’t know what would happen if I confessed.

Part of me wants to tell her everything and find out if she feels the same way. Another part of me is terrified that one confession could destroy the relationship between her and my mother. I know people will judge me when they hear this story.

But I can’t control how I feel. The question is whether I should follow my heart or walk away before these feelings destroy something much bigger than a potential relationship.
