Davido’s confidence stems from over a decade spent at the top of the Nigerian music industry, with a body of work that many argue rivals that of his closest peers, including Wizkid, Olamide, Burna Boy, Tekno, and Runtown Although his declaration placed him in direct comparison with these heavyweights, none of them had publicly responded to the dare at the time of reporting.

That silence, however, didn’t last long, as street-pop star Portable stepped up to accept the gauntlet.
