JUDIKAY RECOUNTS EMOTIONAL PREGNANCY JOURNEY AND MIRACULOUS CHILDBIRTH TESTIMONY

Popular gospel singer Judikay has shared an emotional testimony about her pregnancy and childbirth experience, revealing how she and her husband held on to their faith despite receiving alarming medical reports from doctors.

According to the singer, the experience began when she travelled to Canada at 34 weeks of pregnancy in preparation for the birth of her child. During a routine scan, she became concerned when the sonographer repeatedly asked her to turn from one side to another during the examination.

After some time, Judikay asked what the issue was, only to be told that her baby was not breathing.

The shocking report left her stunned. However, she said she immediately held on to her faith, recalling that she and her husband had already named the baby “UmeChukwu,” meaning “the breath of God.”

The worrying reports did not stop there. She was later informed that the baby allegedly did not have a nose and was advised to undergo a Down syndrome test.

Faced with a series of negative medical reports, Judikay contacted her husband to explain the situation. According to her, her husband firmly instructed her not to proceed with the test and told her to tear up the referral slip.

She said she immediately complied and, from that moment, the couple entered a season of thanksgiving and prayer.

Every day, they declared positive words over their unborn child, refusing to accept the reports they had received. Her husband continually affirmed that they would receive an excellent and perfect child, and together they stood on those declarations throughout the pregnancy.

Judikay revealed that the challenges continued on the day she went into labour. Despite experiencing pain, she felt the contractions were not strong enough to help her push the baby out.

Exhausted and concerned, she asked the nurses to check whether she was fully dilated. To her surprise, they confirmed that she was indeed ready to deliver.

With her husband by her side praying and repeatedly declaring, “It’s done,” Judikay summoned her remaining strength and pushed the baby out.

However, the drama did not end there.

She recalled noticing a worried expression on her husband’s face immediately after the baby was delivered. It was later discovered that the umbilical cord had been wrapped around the baby’s neck twice, causing severe distress. The situation had become so serious that the baby had passed stool while still in the womb.

Despite the frightening complications and the series of negative reports that had surrounded the pregnancy, Judikay said God ultimately gave them victory as both mother and child came through safely.

The gospel singer’s testimony has since inspired many believers, serving as a powerful story of faith, perseverance, and hope in the face of difficult circumstances.
