YOU’RE A WASTE IF YOU DEPEND ON YOUR HUSBAND FOR ALL YOUR SPENDING— BISHOP ADEJUMO TELLS LADIES
Bishop Funke Felix-Adejumo has delivered a powerful message urging women, especially married women, to embrace financial independence and avoid relying solely on their husbands for sustenance.
Speaking at the “Women of Greater Height” programme organized by the RCCG Everlasting Covenant Zone, FCT 11, she emphasized that women were created for more than childbearing and should strive to make meaningful contributions to society.
She encouraged women to deepen their relationship with God, discover and develop their talents, acquire skills, create passive income streams, invest wisely, and build healthy relationships. According to her, humility, gratitude, and a willingness to accept correction are essential qualities for women seeking greatness in life.
Felix-Adejumo stated: “Like yourself and invest in yourself. If the totality of your spending is based on your husband, you are a waste. Don’t let your life be based on Sexually Transmitted Money (STM).”
She further advised women not to allow anyone to diminish their worth, stressing the importance of maintaining a strong sense of value and purpose. Her message highlighted the need for women to celebrate their achievements, avoid immoral relationships for financial gain, and remain committed to God.
Ultimately, she urged women to love and serve God, maintain dignity, and believe in themselves as they pursue greatness.
