WHICH GOVERNMENT IS WORKING? I’M DISAPPOINTED IN MINISTERS WHO USE THE NAME OF THE LORD FOR PROFIT — GOSPEL SINGER VICTORIA ORENZE SAYS

Gospel singer Victoria Orenze has voiced strong criticism against certain ministers and churchgoers whom she accuses of exploiting the name of God for personal gain. In a passionate statement, she expressed disappointment in those who claim to speak on behalf of God without truly hearing from Him, and who manipulate faith for profit.

Orenze condemned the hypocrisy of individuals who praise a government simply because they personally benefit from it, while ignoring the struggles of the majority of Nigerians. She emphasized that such actions reflect selfishness and greed rather than genuine service to God or humanity.

Her words carried a sharp rebuke: “God cannot be mocked! God does not support selfishness, wickedness, greed, pretense, hypocrites and all-round evil.” She further warned that anyone who claims to represent God while supporting injustice and corruption does not truly know Him, but is only seeking what they will eat a concept she described as “stomach Christianity.”

In her message, Orenze urged Nigerians to prepare for change, declaring that the nation is approaching a critical moment where “enough is enough.” She encouraged both prayer and bold speech against wrongdoing, signaling that silence in the face of oppression is no longer acceptable.
