Confused woman

How I traded my body for survival , My sad tale of Pr*stitution-Lady shares her story.

I was just a young girl in university, thinking I had it all figured out, until the sudden death of my father shattered my world. My uncle promised to support me, but those promises turned out to be empty; he never sent a single naira my way.

When I returned to school after the funeral, I faced a harsh reality. I found myself jumping from one cramped hostel room to another, squatting because I couldn’t even afford a bed space. Desperation clawed at me as I fought to stay in school, determined not to let my dreams slip away.

Then, a friend introduced me to a dark world I never thought I’d enter. She told me about men willing to pay for companionship, chores, and much more. I was horrified and skeptical at first, but with no other options, I reluctantly took the plunge. It was a struggle to reconcile my morals with my situation, but after a month, I became numb to it all.

Now, this life I never wanted has become my lifeline, paying for my rent and school fees while I walk the streets unnoticed, living a double life. No one questions where my money comes from, and I’ve learned to hide my pain behind a mask of normalcy.
