A Young 24 year old Nigerian Lady has shared her bitter story of an abusive marriage.

Here’s her story:

My name is Nnenna, and I’m a Graduate from Water Resources.

It has not been easy for me growing up as an orphan who lived with my step aunt.

Everyday, I struggled to survive, as my Step aunt always maltreated me in the home and made me overwork till night.

Her Children treated me anyhow and felt it was okay because their mom always supported it.

I can remember the painful day her first son assaulted me, but my step aunt further warned me never to tell anyone about it, or else she’ll stop my schooling.

I couldn’t talk but felt I could survive it since she was paying my fees. All I wanted, was to graduate with a good grade.

Along the way, I met Femi during my Service year and he’s been good to me.

Femi is a very rich guy who takes care of all my needs, but he slaps me whenever I try to go against his decision.

Even though I was aware of her Femi treated me, I felt he loved me and went ahead to marry him.

Now, my whole body is in sores from abusive s*x and maltreatment from Femi everyday.
