I got married 10 years ago, and it was all a great time. Just like any other couple, we expected to have our first child in the first year, but it was not so.

1 year became 2, and then 3, and then we waited till about 5 years when we decided to try other ways of making babies, but it did not work well. We waited for a whole 10 years, visiting doctors, which did not turn out well. My wife got pregnant after 10 years of waiting; this was the first pregnancy, and it was a moment of joy. Even until the day of delivery.

The day of delivery came. I am a very light-skinned man, and my wife is also light-skinned, but we gave birth to a very dark baby. We were shocked but had to calm down to see. Everybody kept asking who does the baby resembled, etc. I didn’t know what to say, not until a friend called me aside after the baby was about 3 months old and the resemblance became more pronounced, He told me didn’t I observe that my baby looks so much like my next-door neighbour.

Seriously, my mind never went there, but the moment it did, I saw the strong resemblance. Seriously, I have been worried. I trust my wife so much, but this would be too much for me to bear.
