When I found out my husband was cheating, I was broken.

Out of anger and pain, I searched for the woman everywhere online. She was older, classy, financially stable the kind of woman I never imagined my husband could attract. Instead of fighting, I shocked everyone by telling him to continue seeing her openly. I was tired of stress.

I had one condition: she should help me get a job.

The job I have today came through her connections. She even supports me and my child sometimes with food and small money when things are tight. Over time, I started calling her “auntie.” I visit her with my child. When she and my husband quarrel, she even calls me to explain and I try to calm her down.

Then one day, my husband came home angry.

He said he is no longer interested in her. He said I should cut all ties with her because he can’t marry her and she is “too bossy.” According to him, she doesn’t make him feel like a man and he hasn’t benefited from her that she only spends money on me and our child.
