Nigerian Scammed with Exxon Mobil Job Invite – Read Story !

A Nigerian by name Nurudeen Adeyemi shared his Scam Story. It was a close one but fortunately for him he was smart enough. Getting a Job invite from Exxon Mobil is like a dream come through and so many don’t even want to verify anymore or check up, they simply jump at it and call it a Miracle.

These are his words :

“LinkedIn is one of the most popular professional online networks, and fraudsters are by no means restricted to LinkedIn then as you seek job and business opportunities on LinkedIn be careful and mindful of fraudsters.

Some of these scams are very sophisticated, and are carried out by professional crime syndicates from around the world, for the past two months have been applying for jobs on LinkedIn even I was shortlisted for an interview in Dubai, actually, I want to work in Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Kuwait for three years and these are the countries have been applying jobs for the past two months.

On Sunday, I received an email that my application has been shortlisted for a Face-to-face interview with ExxonMobil in London on Thursday, 31st January 2019 and I was asked to contact a travel consultant, whom they claim is ExxonMobil official travelling Consultant that will be handling my travelling process and my travel expenses will be refunded to me by ExxonMobil on arrival.

The message was sent through the email address on my LinkedIn profile, but I didn’t apply for jobs in the UK then THIS IS A MIRACLE, this is the thought that comes to the mind of many.”

Nurudeen was lucky enough to have used his discretion when needed and good enough it paid off.
