Ilerioluwa Oladimeji, who is known as Mohbad is a Nigerian hip-hop music star, he is a singer, songwriter, rapper, entertainer, stage performer and an artiste.

Mohbad as popularly known was born 8th of June 1996 in Lagos State Nigeria. His parents also lives in Lagos and are Yorubas but not much is not known about his family yet pending further investigations.

Also, little information is known about his educational background. But from his interviews we think he passed through the basic primary and secondary school education.

He grew up in Lagos State and his environment played a major role in his music pattern.

In the music industry, Mohbad, is really one of the best rappers to look out for. He came out few years ago, probably when Zlatan and Chinko Ekun came out.

Although Mohbad had been releasing freestyles on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. However, he rose to stardom after his freestyle of Kizz Daniel’s song ‘F*ck You’ went viral online.

Following the viral moment, news broke out that he was going to become a part of the Marlian Music Imprint.

Few months later, he got signed alongside Zinoleesky, Fabian and Cblack. Since joining the record label, Mohbad has been speaking up on how artist are treated by the label he did more of the speaking in his songs.

Furthermore, he accused his boss singer Naira Marley of threatening him as he urges Nigerians to hold Naira Marley responsible if something was to happen to him.

Not much is known about Mohbad, but an online source described him as a very calm person.

Nigerian singer Mohbad is dead. The former Marlian Music singer died on September 12, 2023 at the age of 27 years old.

Currently, circumstances surrounding his death is yet to be determined. The cause is yet to be confirmed.

The singer Mohbad resided in a serviced apartment building in Lekki Lagos. He was the proud owner of two exotic cars, which can be found in his garage. He was also known by the moniker Oba Imole.

He was close friends with Zinoleesky, C Black, and Fabian Blu, who are his label mates.

The rapper Mohbad was currently single, having broken off from a serious relationship months ago. However, he was open to being in a new relationship if he found the right partner.

After his death, it was revealed that rapper, Mohbad, was married to a lady identified as Omowunmi ‘Wunmi‘ and he had a son named Liam Light.

Mohbad has been a victim of oppression from Nigeria’s law enforcement agencies. He was arrested and kept in detention by the NDLEA after operatives of the agency raided his apartment. He was arrested alongside label mate, Zinoleesky. The duo were released after their label boss, Naira Marley, intervened.

Mohbad had been through a lot before his death. He could be described as an Icon. His death has become a thing in Nigeria and has turned the country upside side. Investigations and autopsy are currently ongoing to determine the true cause of his death and for necessary actions to be taken.
