I TRAINED HIM THROUGH SCHOOL, NOW HE SAYS I AM NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO BE HIS WIFE – LADY CRIES OUT

A heartbroken woman has shared how the man she supported through school has now turned his back on her and says she is no longer good enough to be his wife. She narrated how she sacrificed her time, money and energy to help him build his future, only to be rejected at the end. She shared her story below:

I met this man when he had nothing.

At that time, he was struggling to further his education and didn’t have anyone to support him. We became close and eventually started a relationship.

I truly loved him and believed in his future, so I decided to stand by him no matter what.

When he gained admission into school, I was the one who supported him financially. I paid his fees when he couldn’t afford it, bought his books, sent him upkeep and made sure he lacked nothing throughout his time in school.

There were times I had to deny myself a lot of things just to make sure he was okay.

People even warned me that I was doing too much, but I ignored them because I believed we were building a future together.

He always promised me that once he graduated and became successful, he would marry me and take care of me.

I held on to those promises and continued to support him.

After years of hard work and sacrifice, he finally graduated. I was very happy and proud of him because I felt like all my efforts had paid off.

But everything changed after that.

He started behaving differently. The man who used to call me every day became distant. He no longer valued me the way he used to.

At first, I thought it was just the stress of trying to settle into life after school, so I tried to be patient and understanding.

But things kept getting worse.

Whenever I brought up the issue of marriage, he would avoid the conversation or give excuses.

One day, I decided to confront him seriously because I needed clarity about where our relationship was heading.

That was when he said something that completely broke me.

He told me that I am not good enough to be his wife.

According to him, now that he is educated and exposed, he wants a different kind of woman, someone who matches his new status.

I could not believe my ears.

After everything I did for him, after all the sacrifices and support, this is how he chose to repay me.

I feel used, betrayed and completely heartbroken.

All the years I spent investing in him now feel like a waste.

I don’t even know how to move on from this or how to start my life again after giving so much of myself to someone who clearly did not value me.

Right now, I feel lost and confused. Was I wrong for standing by him and supporting him all those years, or did I just believe in the wrong person?
