People are saying I married Regina at 17. That is completely false. The day I met her, she told me she was 21, and like any responsible man, I asked for proof. She brought out her INEC voter’s card. It clearly showed October 10th, 1998 as her birth date. I kept that card with me from that day because I knew people would one day twist facts

Our marriage happened six years ago. Anyone who can count knows she is 27 today. So where is 17 coming from?

What pains me most is that these false claims are being pushed deliberately, as if the truth does not matter. I watched an old BBC interview where her mother even confirmed her age. Everything was public. Everything was clear.

But now, suddenly, the story is changing, and changing in a way that is dangerous.

Let me be honest with the public: Regina is not in a good mental and emotional state right now. I say this not to mock her, but because people deserve to understand the situation before they believe every new thing she says. She started rehabilitation, because she was on drugs, but she did not complete the process. And ever since then, her behaviour and statements have been worrying.

So when people pick her current words and turn them into headlines, they don’t realize they are amplifying things said from a place of pain and instability, not reality.
