ICE PRINCE:I WAS ABOUT TO EXPLODE BUT GOD GAVE ME ANOTHER CHANCE – RAPPER OPENS UP ON HIS JOURNEY TO HEALTH AND DISCIPLINE
For Nigerian rapper Ice Prince Zamani, life lately has been about renewal not just of music, but of body, mind, and discipline.
The award-winning artist recently shared a deeply personal reflection on his health journey, revealing that he was “about to explode,” not because of illness, but because of bad habits and poor lifestyle choices that nearly took a toll on him.
In his words,
“God so good in me life. I was literally about to explode… no sickness, bless God. Just bad habits and choices.”
For Ice Prince, the wake-up call came unexpectedly through friendship. His close friends, Chopstix and Dami, decided to intervene, pushing him to start making better choices.
“Chopstix and Dami said, ‘Let’s lose the belly, Ice,’ and that really sparked something in my brain that got me activated,” he shared.
From that moment, change became routine. Every evening after dinner, Chopstix would visit Ice Prince at home, and the two would walk around his estate for an hour. The walks became more than just exercise they became therapy.
“Our talks during those walks are priceless to me,” he said fondly. “As every other thing we’ve both talked about since we were kids.”
What started as a simple walk became a journey of reflection and healing. Ice Prince says those quiet hours helped him reconnect with himself and with God. He realized that the weight he was carrying wasn’t just physical, but emotional too.
Now, as he prepares to celebrate his birthday on October 30, the rapper says he’s entering a new season one marked by music, health, and self-respect.
“It’s my birthday in a few days and I’ll be dropping new music in my new body,” he announced. “Next year na full chest lol… but please note if nature didn’t make it, don’t take it. Health is wealth.”
For Ice Prince, the transformation is not about vanity, but gratitude gratitude for life, for friendship, and for the second chance God gave him to live better.
And as fans anticipate his new music and new look, Ice Prince reminds everyone of one simple truth:
“If nature didn’t make it, don’t take it because real change starts from within.”
