My Husband Said He Won’t Marry Me If I Don’t Allow His Sister on My Bridal Train – Anonymous lady shares

I honestly don’t know if I’m overreacting, but I need to share this.

While planning my wedding, I carefully picked the girls I wanted on my bridal train. They are my closest friends the people who truly know me. Everything was going smoothly until my husband insisted that his sister must be part of my bridal party.

It’s not like I have a problem with her personally, but the truth is we are not close. I don’t share that bond with her the way I do with my friends. So naturally, I told him I would prefer to keep my list the way it is. That was when things got serious.

He looked me straight in the eyes and said, “If my sister is not on your bridal train, then there will be no wedding.” At first, I thought he was joking, but he wasn’t. He repeated it again ,no sister, no marriage.

Now I’m torn. Shouldn’t I have the right to choose who stands by me on my wedding day? Why does it have to be a condition for our marriage? Part of me feels it’s unfair, but another part of me wonders if I should just let it go to avoid a bigger issue.

So here I am, confused.

Do you think she should stand her ground or just allow his sister to join her bridal train so the marriage can hold?
