Internet personality/singer Darlington Okoye popularly known as speed Darlington in a viral video which surfaced on Tuesday the 27th of may 2025 on X formerly known as twitter was seen to have appeared to admitting to sleeping with a 15 year old girl in a hotel and later paying the girl the sum of two thousand naira.

The internet sensation seems to have taken a pity on the minor which even led him to give her the sum of two thousand naira .The video sparked an outrage from Nigerians on X( formerly known as twitter) and Instagram with many tagging authorities and demanding his arrest.

The singer also appeared to be explaining how he couldn’t imagine working in a hotel which was what led to the alleged confession.

The video which is still going viral across different social media platforms with enraged Nigerians commenting and calling on the authorities demanding his detainment and Justice .

Darlington Okoye, popularly known as Speed Darlington, was born in Arondizuogu, Imo State, to Nigerian musicians Pericoma Okoye and Queen Theresa Onuorah and  was raised in the Bronx, New York. He rose to fame with his track “bangdadadang” and ever since then fans grew a liking to his unique genre of music.
