I’ve always known my husband, Femi, to be passionate about football, but I never imagined it would escalate to this extent. Whenever there’s a match, his emotions run high, often leading to either aggression or excessive happiness.

Yesterday, as I was washing my son’s school uniform, I heard a scream from outside followed by an uproar. Rushing out, I found my son injured, being taken to the hospital, and my husband almost assaulted by an angry mob.

I learned that my husband, in the heat of an argument about football, ended up causing harm to our son.

As a Chelsea fan, my husband didn’t hesitate to break our son’s head, I’m fed up with his football addiction and I’m taking him to the police.
