“Still on the matter, moms that slay. You know when I met Tolu in FUTA, I was preaching in her campus fellowship and she was one of the welfare people. I didn’t take note. She came by my fellowship secretariat much later after we bumped to each other at the school gate. She needed a mentor to keep her accountable on her goal to graduate with a second class upper. All She needed was assurance. She already made up her mind to put in the necessary work. .

Months later she graduated one year ahead of my class, and would spend the next 6months retailing beauty products accross school hostels on and off campus. She came by a few times in my final year and we got talking. Then i started looking for her as well.
.
.
One time, my Nissan Primera (those cars you don’t remember the year they were made) had an accident. I was in it, but I wasn’t hurt, I couldn’t call home, my friend was away, but she sent me N3,500, about $20 at the time to fix it. Wooo, I was like, in this age that girls are the ones milking boys dry. I didn’t realize she was investing..
.
.
Today I am still owing her money ooo. But i have paid that one back in a thousand folds. .
.
So many lessons to learn here. So many.
Thanks for being a pillar of support from when I had nothing, and till now, and for pledging to be there always. I love you “
