My Husband Lost His Life because of His Business, Now My In Laws Are After His Wealth – Woman shares

I am a mother of two and lost my husband to the cold hands of death.

My husband was an odogwu, a well to do business man, He has business in 5 different states and in total 20 shops.

One faithful day I and my family planned on going on a family weekend and a call came in that my husband’s goods sunk into the ocean.

my husband could not bear the pain as it ran in billions so quite unfortunately he developed a heart attack and was rushed to the best hospital in town. We were in disarray and everything started going downhill for us after that.

I was depressed and drowning in my sorrows because my one true love was in a state that I could not do anything about .

So, After 6 months we flew him out of the country but unfortunately he couldn’t make it. My husband left this world!!!! I was shattered and lonely , I could barely eat , drink nor even sleep . It was the most traumatic experience in my entire life.

That was the worst day of my life returning to Nigeria with my husband corpse . After the funeral ,the family threw me and the children out and collected everything he had from us without looking back. This was something that I expected and I saw it forthcoming because everyone was envious of my husband’s wealth and now that he was gone , everyone rushed to get their own share

I struggle to care for myself and the children but 6 months down the line i was able to pick up my life again and this time to stand as both parent to my children.

Later on ,My mother inlaw and brother inlaw came looking for me saying i needed to marry my husband brother!!!
Could you imagine the audacity and guts!!!, Saying that was the tradition.I realised that they could not manage the business so everything collapsed.

Now ,I am being forced now either to marry him or lose my children. This was the threat that they gave me .!!!!

Please people from the west (igbo) is that true or they is a way out. All my life was in the city
