Popular Nollywood actor Kunle Remi has opened up about how marriage and fatherhood have completely changed his perspective on acting, especially when it comes to intimate scenes on screen.

Speaking about his personal growth, the actor explained that there was a time when certain scenes, like kissing, felt like just another part of the job. According to him, those moments were once seen as normal sometimes even exciting or romantic especially when trying to portray love in movies.

However, things are different for him now.

Kunle Remi revealed that since getting married, he has become more intentional about the roles he accepts and the scenes he agrees to perform. Instead of simply going along with what is written in a script, he now asks deeper questions.

According to him, whenever a script requires a kissing scene, he takes a step back to understand the purpose behind it. He questions whether that level of physical intimacy is truly necessary to tell the story or if the same emotional connection can be achieved in another way.

He also reflected on older films where actors were able to convincingly portray deep love without relying on physical contact, yet audiences still believed in the connection.

The actor further explained that his decisions are now influenced by his values, faith, and family. He shared that if a role requires such intimacy, he makes it a point to discuss it with his wife first, explaining the creative reason behind it and listening to her thoughts.

In his words, his body is no longer just his alone, but also represents his beliefs and the family that trusts him.
