My Parents Caused my Teenage Pregnancy But everyone is Blaming only me – Depressed lady shares

I can remember the day we met, it started when Femi came to our compound to rent an apartment. He was an Undergraduate in his final year.

He rented a house in the compound, to help him focus more on his studies, since his final year exam was already fast approaching

Mami(my Mum) told me to always include him in any food I cooked, because she believed that when I get to the university as well, someone else will take care of me in like manner. I was just finishing secondary school, awaiting Jamb.

Every time I cooked, mum made sure I took food to Femi’s room, she didn’t allow any of my other siblings do it. I didn’t know why though.

According to her, respect in our custom demands a lady to serve food, and not a guy since I was the only female at home.

As time went, Femi felt comfortable coming around the house when mom wasn’t around.

He began helping me to do the dishes, and also cook as well.

I felt abit uncomfortable because he always came in with shorts, but mum and dad never saw anything wrong with that, they felt it was because the weather was too hot.

That was how Femi started sedu*ing me and one thing led to another.

I just finished bathing  when Femi came in,  he saw my nakedness and I couldn’t control myself either, so we had s*x.

I wanted telling Mami about it, but I already started liking him, so we had it over and over.

I couldn’t control myself anymore so we continued.

After few months, I felt funny so I did a private test and I tested positive, so I insisted on terminating the pregnancy so I don’t bring shame upon my parents, instead Femi told told me to proceed to have the baby.

Yesterday I went to his room, and saw he wasn’t there, his apartment was empty. This guy ran away over night. As I speak now, nobody believes that this was caused by my parents, everyone is blaming me. This is really tough for me, Femi has destroyed my life.
