SHE TOOK MY MOTHER’S PLACE NOW SHE IS TRYING TO TAKE MY LIFE – FURIOUS LADY SHARES HER STORY
When my mother died, I thought life had taken enough from me. I never knew worse was still coming.
A year after the funeral, my father remarried. Everyone said it was time for him to move on, but from the first day that woman stepped into our house, I knew something wasn’t right. She smiled too much, talked too softly like someone trying too hard to hide her true self.
At first, she acted loving. Cooked for me, called me “my daughter,” even bought me things my father never did. I fell for it. I thought maybe she was different. But it didn’t take long for the mask to fall off.
She started complaining about me. Told my dad I was disrespectful, that I didn’t like her. Slowly, she turned him against me. My father, who used to be my safe place, started shouting at me over every little thing.
Then the strange things began. My food would taste bitter. My clothes would disappear. Sometimes I’d wake up feeling dizzy and weak. I told my aunt about it, and she advised me to be careful with whatever I ate.
One night, I woke up coughing the room was filled with smoke. My curtains were on fire. When I screamed for help, she didn’t come. By the time neighbours rushed in, she was standing outside, calm, saying I must have “left a candle burning.” I didn’t even own a candle.
That was when my aunt came and took me away. Later, my dad found rat poison hidden near the food container the same one she always used to serve my meals.
Till today, I can’t explain how someone could hate a child that much. She took my mother’s place in the house, but she also tried to take my life.
I don’t wish her harm, but I will never forgive her. Never.
