My uncle promised to take me with him abroad immediately was done with my Waec exams and I was the happiest girl ever because I had never step foot outside Ibadan .

He promised me a lot actually and my parents were just so happy and grateful that he is taking up that responsibility to do that , at least I will be exposed to better and greater opportunities out there .

Not knowing that this man had ulterior motives, I had a feeling that something was shady when I wrote my last paper and he was always at our house with my father ,( mind you , he is like my father’s age mate ) . He was always looking for a way to talk to me in private all under the guise that he wanted to discuss how my life there would be .

All the time the conversations are always so uncomfortable and I hated it because of the way that he was acting. So one faithful day when he came over to the house , he requested that he spoke to me in private and the conversation we had shook me to the core .

He was asking me if had ever done inappropriate things and if I hadn’t I should’ve prepared to do them if we got there and even went to the extent of saying that he couldn’t wait for us to get there .

I don’t know how to break this devastating new s to my parents who have gone above and beyond to prepare for my departure. I am so scared and I do not know what to do .

I don’t want to go and be m*lested and on the other hand I also don want to disappoint my parents 😭.
