So, an abroad-based Nigerian lady recently shared a story that left many people speechless and I felt the need to share it here too .

A young woman had just given birth. Since her own mother had passed away, she followed tradition and invited her husband’s mother to come over for omugwo
a period where a new mother’s mother or mother-in-law comes to help care for her and the baby.
Out of respect, and perhaps a longing to reconnect, she also invited her father to be part of this joyous time.

At first, everything seemed normal a family gathered to welcome new life. But along the line, something bizarre happened. The woman’s father and her mother-in-law began secretly dating. Their closeness raised suspicions, but no one imagined how far it had gone.

The shocking truth came out when the woman and her husband reviewed CCTV footage in their home. What they saw left them broken: the father of the new mother and the husband’s own mother were caught in compromising situations.

What was supposed to be a season of joy and bonding turned into a story of betrayal, leaving the young couple devastated and the internet divided.
