I Got Pr*gnant for My Lecturer – He Denied Me and I Was Expelled- Lady shares

I was in my second year of university, studying Mass Communication. Coming from a humble background, I carried the weight of my family’s hope. I wanted to make them proud.

He was my lecturer — confident, articulate, respected. When I struggled with an assignment, he offered to help. At first, it felt like genuine support. Then the boundaries blurred. He started calling late, complimenting me, making me feel seen. I thought I was special.

One evening, he kissed me in his office. I didn’t stop him. I was scared — scared of losing his favor, of damaging my academic future. What started as mentorship turned into something I couldn’t fully explain, even to myself.

Weeks later, I missed my period. The test was positive.

When I told him, his warmth vanished. “Don’t try to pin this on me,” he said. He cut off all communication and began ignoring me. Soon, I was summoned to a disciplinary panel. He claimed I had seduced him, violated student codes.

I was expelled.

He kept his job, his reputation, and his silence.

I returned home, pregnant, ashamed, and devastated. But I survived. I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Slowly, I began to rebuild — working odd jobs, studying when I could, healing in pieces.

I share this not for sympathy, but to say: this happens more than we admit. Students are being exploited, silenced, and blamed.

We must demand safer learning environments. We must speak up. Document everything. Tell someone. Protect yourself and others.

This story isn’t just mine. It’s a call to action.

No more silence. No more shame. Enough is enough.
