I am a woman who was in her middle thirties at the time I met my husband.

I am older than him with few years.
I met this young guy which was my bf by then but his now my husband, I had just moved to Abuja at the time , and I settled in a rural area in Abuja.

At that time, I had a boutique and my husband would always come to the shop to buy something, fast forward to months later we became close friends and I usually went to visit him at his house then and one day, he asked me to be his gf and I agreed.

few years down the line one thing led to another and I fell pregnant, his family insisted he married me traditionally because I was already pregnant, but my husband wasn’t ready to settle down at that time because he was way younger than I am.

After the back and forth between his family and I, his eldest brother who was like the father of the family insisted that the marriage was going to hold.

On the day of the marriage, my husband didn’t come at all but his eldest brother represented him at the marriage and that was how I got married to my husband traditionally. That was one of the red flags I ignored just because I was desperate to settle down because of my age.

Few years later, when we started living as husband and wife, I tried getting my husband to get me pregnant again for our second baby but all my efforts were in vain.

Mind you, my husband is a chronic cheat and I knew this before the marriage but because I felt like time wasn’t on my side I had to hold him down with that pregnancy.

years past and kept passing by and I became worried as I wasn’t getting any younger and I needed to have all my kids before I turn 40, so I knew I needed to act really fast.

I started praying, going from churches to churches asking God for his intervention.

And with time, my husband who barely sleeps at home now started sleeping at home and somehow I got pregnant again.
But something happened, on the 9th month When it was close to my delivery date, the news came that my husband had a son with a lady already whom he had secretly went to see her family and paid her bride price.

I was devastated when I heard that news but decided to be strong as I didn’t want to loose my pregnancy, I tried to stay close to my family as a source of strength just so I don’t overthink until I put to bed..

After I delivered my baby I decided to dig deep to be sure it wasn’t just a cooked up story, I summoned courage and confronted my husband, to my greatest surprise it was real as my husband confirmed it..

I am so broken right now, I am so angry at my husband but I don’t know what to do..
