How I Started Having Romantic Feelings For a Cat!! Is This Normal???- Confused Lady Shares

This lady shares her story about how she started feeling emotionally attached to a cat.

Please do not judge me , I figured this is a safe space that is why I am sharing here . Some few months back I went to stay with my cousins in Lagos .

And to my greatest surprise they had a cat, it was very cute and small . At first when I went to the house the cat was sort of afraid of me , but it later started warming up to me .

I became so fond of it that I would even use my own money to buy cat treats from the supermarket despite knowing that it was very expensive but I didn’t care .

Things started going out of hand when it was almost time for me to go back home to Abuja but I felt very heavy in my heart because I loved it so much .

I was literally doing everything with it . I am very sure that I started developing some type of feeling other than the normal relationship one usually has with its pet because there was a time it scratched me and I was so heartbroken the whole day .

It noticed my emotions and it suddenly probably felt bad for what it did and kept on following me all around the house despite me ignoring it .

I really do not know what this feelings are . Is it normal to experience this with an animal ? Because I have never had a pet before . Please enlighten me I am confused.
